CrossReach

CrossReach provides care and support to some of Scotland’s most vulnerable people. Our work is both challenging and exciting and as the Social Care Council of The Church of Scotland, is built upon a long tradition of service provision, dating back to 1869.

Our aim is to meet people’s needs, whatever their life story. This means we don’t just
address one particular issue, but our services have developed over time in response to people’s changing needs – this has made us quite diverse as a social care organisation.

Each person is unique and we believe that everyone has the right to make decisions about their own life.  It is our passion to deliver personalised support, tailored to each person we work with.  We are excited about the opportunities for innovative and flexible service provision which have been introduced by Self-directed Support.

As a large and diverse organisation, we have access to a wide range of expertise and have developed services in Adult Care, Children & Families and Older People.

Our Adult Care Services support people between the ages of 16 – 65 and include:

  • Counselling & Support
  • Criminal Justice
  • Homelessness
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Health
  • Substance Misuse

Our Children and Family Services deliver a range of services to over 2,500 children, young people and their families every year in a variety of settings.  A majority of this is delivered in the communities where the children live and is tailored to meet specific needs.  Our services include:

  • Generic Counselling Services (including family therapy, relationship counselling and school based clinics)
